CRS - School Governance Council

 
Who we are:
 
The Center Road School Governance Council is made up of teachers, parents, and community members.  Meetings are held the second Thursday of the month from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM in the school library. 
   
Purpose:
 
The School Governance Council provides an opportunity for stakeholders in the school to craft a productive collaboration to support student success. The intent of the Council is to enable parents, school staff, students where appropriate) and community leaders to work together to improve student achievement in the local school setting/site.
 
The purpose of the School Governance Council is to assist, advise and provide the building school administration with a broad base of input to improve school and student performance and to help design, develop and implement a school improvement plan that is aligned with the state and district standards.
 
The School Governance Council shall counsel the school administration regarding all matters related to the operation of the school with the exception of those matters such as personnel performance which are relegated by statute exclusively to administrative personnel.
