Vernon Gifted and Talented Staff:

Mrs. Regina Lee

Current Position: Gifted and Talented Teacher
Years Teaching: 10 years

BA in American Studies from Trinity College

MA in Education, Reading and Language Arts, from St. Joseph College


Professional History:
Mrs. Lee began her career as a database administrator and legal assistant for a major law firm.  She also worked as a database administrator and development assistant for a secondary education institution while she attended graduate school to obtain her Masters Degree. She worked for Manchester Public Schools before moving to Vernon and becoming a Vernon Public Schools employee.

Extracurricular Activities:
Mrs. Lee loves to travel with her family and learning about other cultures.  She also enjoys reading for pleasure, watching movies, cooking with her children, and crochet.  She has been a Girl Scout leader for the last 13 years.

Ms Brittany Williams

Current Position: Gifted and Talented Teacher Elementary 
Years Teaching: 9 years

BA in Interdisciplinary Arts integration SUNY Brockport MSEd in Inclusive Education: Special Education and Gifted Extension
In Progress: 6th Year Certificate Educational Psychology: Giftedness and Talented Development

Professional History:
Ms. Williams is new in Vernon this year! She comes from Hartford Schools as a Special Education Teacher.  Previous teaching experiences include Gifted and Talented in Hilton, NY, Special Education Teacher/ABA Therapist Rochester, NY and, 2nd Grade Teacher Lafayette, LA.

Extra Curricular ActivitiesIn her spare time Ms. Williams is active with the Connecticut Swing Dance Society in Hartford, CT and spends a lot of time with her horse Banjo when not in school!  She loves to travel and enjoys recreational SCUBA diving.
