RHS - Principal's Weekly Message

Hi folks,
Four things for you tonight.
First, the Girls Basketball Team has its Senior Night this Monday, February 13th, at which we recognize seniors on the team.  The JV game is at 5:15, and the Varsity game starts at 6:30 p.m.
Next, thank you to all parents and students who attended our Parent Meeting this past Tuesday, and especially your feedback on the ESS Block.  We’ll be seeking student input on Monday, and will post the proposal handed out at the Parent Meeting on our website Monday night.
Next, we’re planning our 9th and 10th grade 1:1 Chromebook kickoff in several weeks. We have a Parent Information Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 22nd, 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium.  That will be followed by assemblies for the 9th and 10th grade classes, and shortly thereafter we’ll begin distributing the Chromebooks.  For parents of 9th and 10th grade students, that will be a great chance to see what the program’s all about, and to find out what our expectations are for students.
Finally, our College Planning Night is next Thursday, February 16, at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium.  All parents and students are invited, but this night is particularly useful to our juniors and their parents.  With three kids in college myself I can tell you come away with some very very useful information.
That’s it, thanks, and good night!
Andy
